Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a wide variety of mental health services for WSU students, including individual and group counseling, specialized workshops, psychological assessment, drug and alcohol services, and crisis consultation.

Students come to CAPS for a variety of reasons including: stress/anxiety management; relationship concerns; depression; eating disorders; sexual concerns; grief and loss; study/testing concerns; and a many other related concerns..

Counseling services are available for all currently enrolled WSU students free of charge.
On-going therapy sessions are provided by appointment only during regular office hours (M-F 8-5).
However, initial intake appointments are conducted during Walk-In hours (M 1-4; T 11-2; W-F 10-12 and 1-4)..

During summer, we currently will meet with students to briefly assess your needs, then schedule a full intake during this initial contact.
