Detailed description is The Office of Clinical Experiences ensures that effective partnerships and high-quality clinical practice are central to preparation of Teacher Candidate, The purpose of the Clinical experience is to observe current educational practices in a classroom setting.
Ideally, the student will be able to observe the host teacher and discuss the lesson with the teacher after a class.
We also strongly encourage Field Experience students to participate actively in the classroom under the direction of the hosting teacher.
This experience will provide the students an opportunity to observe exemplary teaching practices that can serve as models when they design lesson plans during student teaching..
