The Cafe has provided catering for personal or public parties, town events, and has hosted buffets for Ragbrai.
In the past, it has done free donations of food to the Wlton football team, new openings in the community, and even to customers.
In 2010, it was placed in "Iowa's top 100 Ma' and Pa's Cafes to visit!" Being a family owned restaurant means that everyone in the family contributes in some way.
Whether it is the middle son performing duties such as washing dishes, or the youngest son cooking; everyone contributes.
