Detailed description is The BioMEMS Research Laboratory / Wlodkowic Lab is a state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary research facility with main focus on microfluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip bioanalytical technologies.
The BioMEMS Research Laboratory / Wlodkowic lab is an interdisciplinary research facility based at the RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Our research is highly multidisciplinary and sits at the interface bridging: biosciences, bioengineering and advanced manufacturing.
The laboratory is pioneering development of advanced microfluidic Lab-on-a-Chip technologies..

Our research currently comprises of three distinct inter-disciplinary themes such as:.

- Microfluidic and Lab-on-a-Chip technologies: developing novel analytical methods for biosciences, biomedicine and environmental sciences.

- Microfabrication methods: development of non-traditional manufacturing processes including additive manufacturing (3D printing) for raid prototyping of Lab-on-a-Chip systems.
