Detailed description is Yummies are freshly prepared with quality ingredients in my home kitchen.
Order anytime and find me at local events throughout the year! YUMMIES are made from scratch with quality ingredients like real butter, farm fresh brown eggs (locally produced when available), natural peanut butter, Ghirardelli chocolate and the best vanilla extract.
I never use mixes or shortcuts.
I believe quality ingredients and a little extra time make a difference and once you try my Yummies, I know you'll agree!.

A little about me....

I reside in Londonderry with my husband of 21 years, we have a talented son who is off at college in north western Ohio.
When I'm not baking, I also love to cook, garden, and birdwatch.

I have loved baking since I was a kid.
I credit my Easy Bake Oven for sparking my interests with those teeny little cakes that baked under the lightbulb.
It was just the coolest thing ever to me! As I outgrew my toy, I began to practice baking in a real oven.
I would pull out my Mom's old cookbooks and make whatever we had the ingredients for.
Sometimes I didn't like how the recipes turned out so I would alter them and try to improve them...it all went from there.
When I became a teenager I had a wonderful home ec teacher who was very encouraging, it was then that I started entering my cakes and cookies in local fairs and earned quite a collection of ribbons! (I do believe I upset some of the regulars who believed my Grandma had to be baking my entries for me)....
