By Kathi O'Shea May 11, 2021 8:47 am KGMI Whatcom Transit Authority BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Two zero-emission buses have arrived in Whatcom County to serve transit routes throughout the county. Whatcom Transportation Authority spokesperson Maureen McCarthy says they’ll have about a 150-mile range. They seat 36 passengers with a total capacity of 75, can be fully charged in under four hours and are super quiet. The electric buses are expected to enter service in June. Featured Content
