This funding follows an announcement from Ontario Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton of the government’s investment in the YMCA’s Essential Skills Supportive Care Assistant program, which provides employers with ready and skilled workers. Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walked calls it excellent new for residents and businesses in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound. “This funding helps employers to train the skilled workers they need for their business and create job opportunities for our local workers. This is truly a win-win and I want to thank Minister McNaughton for this investment in our community.”
