1 dead, 1 critical when drivers collide at intersection, cops say Updated Feb 05, 2021; One driver was killed and another in critical condition on Friday after a two-vehicle crash in Middlesex County, authorities said. The crash was reported about 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Route 130 and Deans Rhode Hall Road in South Brunswick, according to James Ryan, deputy chief of the township police department. Deborah Apgar, 70 of North Brunswick, was driving north on Route 130, tried to turn onto Deans Rhode Hall and collided with a southbound SUV driven by a 67-year-old South Brunswick man, Ryan said. Both victims were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Apgar died at the hospital and the man remained in critical condition on Friday.
