10 Bucks County spots to celebrate National Wine Day

This year, why not make it local?
On a recent weekend afternoon at Buckingham Valley Vineyards, families, couples and friends gathered on blankets and fold-out chairs, sipping wine and snacking on cheese and crackers as a musician played acoustic tunes, against a backdrop of rolling vineyards and towering sculptures.
About 10 miles north at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery in Perkasie, a similar scene was unfolding, as visitors on a sprawling grassy area played lawn games and laid back, listening to upbeat live tunes and soaking up the sun.
Gatherings like this are happening across the region, as Bucks County's wineries welcome visitors to their properties, offering a blended combination of local flavors, a scenic getaway and entertainment for the entire family. Wineries across the region are humming with activity, with some offering tastings inside, while others keeping the entertaining outdoors.
