MUMBAI: Amid the rising Covid cases in the state, Maharashtra government has decided to cancel class X board examination. The decision has been taken in the state cabinet meeting on Tuesday chaired by chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. Public health minister Rajesh Tope after the cabinet meeting said that class X exams will not be held instead all students will be promoted to class XI. However, the decision whether to conduct assessment will be taken by the school education department.
