Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– The Francis Sites Wetland project in Spirit Lake will be moving forward in the near future with after the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors gave the okay to move on to phase two earlier this week.
John Hight with Beck Engineering told the Board the project was broken into two phases for funding purposes, but the next steps will bring the whole idea together.
Supervisor Jeff Thee, who represents Spirit Lake and started getting involved in the project with the retirement of former Supervisor Pam Jordan, showed his support for moving forward.
