A primary school in the north of the county has recently received a £1,000 donation from a local housebuilder. Barratt David Wilson Homes decided to give Buckingham Primary School the money, which will go towards the school PTA’s project to refurbish and restock the school library with modern and diverse books. The school was built in 1972 and the new library will provide a fresh and modern space for the children to immerse themselves in the vast range of new books funded by the housebuilder. Buckingham Primary School Mrs Sam Brewer, Headteacher at Buckingham Primary School, comments: “We firmly believe that a love of books plays a pivotal role in our pupil’s development and education, which is why this project has been so important to us.
