VR headsets and a rebuild of an Iron Age fort are among the suggestions for a £100,000 facelift of one of the borough’s beauty spots.
Swindon Borough Council has secured the funds – which can only be spent at Barbury Castle – as part of a sale with Wiltshire Council.
A survey is already up an running for suggestions on how money should be spent at the town’s parks – with a commitment to improving the toilets and signage at Barbury Castle already in place.
One person said: “I’d like to see the Iron Age hill for rebuilt and for VR headsets to be provided for hire so people could see just how people lived on the ancient site back in the day.”
