KIND kiltwalkers across Inverclyde raised more than £6,000 for a local Christian mission. Fundraisers walked, cycled and danced their way across Inverclyde for Kidron as part of this year's Virtual Kiltwalk weekend. The energetic activities generated more than £4,000 which will be increased to more than £6,000 by the Sir Tom Hunter Foundation. Kidron's non-executive director Colin Campbell says the team are thrilled and 'completely shocked' by the amount of money raised. He said: "We didn't have very high expectations as we know it's been a very difficult time for everyone. "We weren't able to do any fundraising at all last year so it was great to see so many people getting involved this time around.
