The ‘Changing Futures’ Programme is aimed at helping those with homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health issues. Launched on Saturday, the £64m scheme aims to provide tailored, joined-up support. The programme – a joint partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund - helps the most vulnerable in society get the support they need by co-ordinating local services, such as healthcare professionals, social workers and key workers. Lancashire - one of 15 areas to win cash from the scheme - will receive £6.5m over the next three years. Existing projects to receive cash support include Blackburn and Preston's 'Making Every Adult Matter Approach' schemes and Blackpool's ‘Fulfilling Lives’ programme.
