2 agencies get SUVs from COVID funds

The Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency and the Guam Department of Agriculture have new vehicles to support their missions.
Each agency now has a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, purchased by the Bureau of Statistics and Plans using $94,000 of a $2.9 million in U.S. Department of Justice Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program grant, according to a news release.
“From the start of our COVID-19 response, our goal has been to fully access this federal funding and get this support into the hands of our first responders as quickly as possible,” said Tyrone Taitano, director Bureau of Statistics and Plans
