A man who is accused of fatally stabbing two women at a Northeast Side apartment complex early Tuesday morning was hospitalized in critical condition after trying to kill himself, Columbus police said. Innocent Nshizirungu, 31, will be charged with two counts of murder if he survives, according to a release prepared by a homicide sergeant. Mariah S. Hurt, 25, and Wanda M. Myricks, 43, died after being taken to hospitals following the incident, which occurred at about 5 a.m. in the Summit Park Apartments in the 4400 block of Walford Street. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the apartment complex, where they found two female stabbing victims and Nshizirungu "attempting to commit suicide," police reported.
