2 dead, 1 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Buckeye At least two people died after being caught in a multi-vehicle accident in Buckeye on Sunday night. Buckeye police responded to the call at about 10:30 p.m. near Verrado Way and Van Buren Street, according to police spokesperson Donna Rossi. When officers arrived on the scene, they found one vehicle had engulfed in flames, the second vehicle had a trapped occupant and the third vehicle had rolled over several times and landed in a nearby field, Rossi said. The two occupants in the first vehicle were unable to escape the flames and were pronounced dead on the scene after the firefighters extinguished the car on fire, Rossi said.
