Around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Gresham police officers responded Southeast 172nd and Burnside Street, where they found a man lying dead on the corner in the middle of the day. “I'm always seeing stuff going on in the neighborhood — shootings, drive-bys — it's constant,” said Beriane, who has lived in the neighborhood for 33 years. “It's been more gang violence, more shootings, vandalism, break-ins, car thefts. It's gotten a lot worse."
