2021 Storybook Breakfast Raises $30,000 in Murfreesboro for the Imagination Library Apr 19, 2021 at 07:46 am by WGNS Photo by Frank Caperton The 2021 edition of the annual Storybook Breakfast was sold out as more than 200 attendees enjoyed breakfast from Chick-fil-A and Dunkin’ Donuts. Guests also enjoyed games, story time and books, all sponsored by Murfreesboro Medical Clinic Pediatrics Department and the ENT Department. The event was at the Cannonsburg Village. Proceeds from the Storybook Breakfast benefit the Imagination Library recipients in Rutherford County. Approximately $30,000 dollars was raised Saturday. United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties Executive Director Meagan Flippin stated, "The donations will fund the Imagination Library for two months."
