This is the world we live in. Porsche's newest super-SUV is not just fast for the segment, it is significantly faster than most sports cars on sale. Because when the company puts a "GT" moniker on any product, it's making a big claim. And doing so for the first time on an SUV is bound to ruffle feathers. So it has to be a big leap. That's why the Turbo GT comes with 90 hp more than the standard Cayenne Turbo Coupe. It's not quite as potent as the 670-hp Turbo S E-Hybrid, but as with other Porsche GT models, the focus is on overall performance rather than just power. Even with a horsepower disadvantage, it sprints to sixty in just 3.1 seconds, down from 3.6 seconds in the hybrid. The quarter-mile slips by in 11.6 seconds. Some of this performance must be attributed to the massive Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires that provide a one-inch wider contact patch than the Turbo. They're wrapped around exclusive 22-inch GT Design wheels in a shade of gold dubbed Neodyme.
