Skoda remains committed to the subcompact estate segment in Europe despite the fact that it has lost important ground to small crossovers and SUVs. As a result, they will continue offering a long-roof version of the newest generation Fabia that was introduced just last week.
Named Combi, the more practical member of the new Fabia family is still two years away, as the Czech automaker confirmed that it will enter production at the Kvasiny plant in 2023, next to the brand’s high-riding vehicles, due to a production facility reshuffle.

Production dates aside, the 2023 Fabia Combi has been rendered into reality by XTomi. The digital illustration shows it with an extended back end, with longer rear fenders, extra side windows and longer roof, complete with rails. The rest of the design, up to the C pillars, is identical to the hatchback. The cabin will look the same too, featuring the newly-styled dashboard with round air vents on each side and a central screen.
