24 persons charged with DRMA breaches in Clarendon

Some 24 persons were arrested by the police in Clarendon on Sunday in relation to alleged breaches the Disaster Risk Management Act (DRMA). 
The individuals were apprehended during police operations across sections of the parish.
Those charged are to face the Clarendon Parish Court at a later date.
During Sunday's operations, head of operations for the Clarendon police, Superintendent Christopher Phillips, expressed disappointment that persons were breaking the curfew orders "with no reasonable cause to be on the road".
