Due to inclement weather, the event was re-located from Main Street to a barn at the Marshall Fairgrounds. Local kids were given the opportunity to make their own lemonade, which the public was invited to try and vote which they liked best. Marshall Mayor John Hastens, Police Chief Chris Smithson and Fire Chief Paul Hoggat were all in attendance. The money raised from the event went toward grants for downtown businesses as well as any marketing and promotions necessary to support them. Event organizer Nora Swalls with Marshall Main Street said she hopes events like this one encourage the public to come and appreciate what the community offers.
