DAVAO CITY - The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation in the Davao Region (PhilHealth-11) announced Tuesday that three hospitals have been accredited to provide the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) Home Isolation Benefit Package (CHIBP) in the region. In a statement, the PhilHealth-11 identified the three health facilities as the Davao Oriental Provincial Medical Center in Davao Oriental; Rivera Medical Center, Inc. in Davao del Norte; and the Davao Doctors Hospital in this city. The announcement came following the release of PhilHealth-11 Advisory No. 2022-0011 dated January 22, stating these hospitals would provide CHIBP to patients regardless of area alert level. "Patients who tested positive for Covid-19 through RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) test but are asymptomatic or with mild symptoms, and who do not want to stay in a Community Isolation Unit (CIU) may now coordinate with these accredited CHIBP providers for assessment to receive health support directly from their homes," the PhilHealth-11 said. PhilHealth-accredited KonSulTa providers, CIUs, infirmaries, and hospitals are also still invited to enlist as CHIBP providers at no additional accreditation fee. "For more information, members and facilities may refer to PhilHealth Circular No. 2022-0002, which may be downloaded from www.philhealth.gov.ph," the agency said. (PNA) }
