LOUIS — It's a historic day in the Metro East. Back in November, voters decided to merge the cities of Alorton, Cahokia and Centreville. Thursday morning, leaders were sworn in, making it official. It is now the combined city of Cahokia Heights. Curtis McCall Sr. is the new city's first mayor.
