According to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Tanner Mitchell, a 28-year-old from Fargo, was traveling northbound on State Highway 20, when he drove through a red light. Mitchell was then struck at a right angle by a Chevrolet Traverse, driven by 63-year-old Paul Tronson, from Doyon, N.D. Mitchell's vehicle, a Ford Explorer rolled off into a ditch with the front driver side's wheel flying off after striking a third vehicle, driven by 84-year-old Earl Pelton.
