STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Four more borough residents are believed to have succumbed to the coronavirus (COVID-19), even as disease-related hospitalizations here dropped to the lowest level this year.
At the same time, more than 60 new confirmed coronavirus cases were added to Staten Island’s total, city Health Department data shows.
As of 1 p.m. Friday, 1,809 Staten Islanders are believed to have died from complications related to the coronavirus, according to the most recent data available.
