Jermaine Dewone Bolden, 36, who had the street name “Sockhead,” was sentenced Monday by District Judge Ramona Emanuel to four decades in prison for an armed robbery conviction and a 10-year concurrent term for aggravated battery.
Bolden was convicted of armed robbery and aggravated battery, both with a firearm, on Feb. 27, 2020, in Caddo District Court.
Jury deliberation took less than 30 minutes.
Bolden's victim was shot and robbed on April 8, 2018, after he was lured to a friend's home where Bolden was a guest.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Sam Crichton and Ed Blewer. Bolden was defended by Kurt Goins.
