Ranchi: Five members of the Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC) were held on Friday for pasting Maoist posters at different locations of Ranchi district, including opposite Raj Bhawan near Ratu Road Chowk. On December 15, locals at Ratu Road woke up to the TSPC posters which batted for action against contractors and officials of the Central Coalfields Limited who allegedly threaten displaced people and mistreat them. Slogans against the state government were also found in some of the posters. It added that coal officials should ensure development of every displaced person or else people would chase them away. The TSPC also urged the people to speak up against exploitation, suppression , murder and rape and unite for securing their rights and jal, jungle and zameen.
