Contentious plans to build a new 18m high 5G mast opposite a church in Windsor have been slammed. The proposals could see the new mast built on a verge of grass opposite Windsor Gospel Hall in Ruddlesway, Windsor. A planning application for the determination as to whether prior approval is required is currently live online. The application has been met with substantial criticism. In total, over 50 objections have been submitted to the plans, in contrast to a singular comment supporting the plan. These objections relate to a number of issues, including the impact upon the environment, the visual impact of the development and concerns over the safety of the mast.
