5th and 6th graders will return to class full-time on April 28 April 21, 2021 9:59 PM Matthew Kincanon Updated: SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Public Schools announced that all 5th and 6th graders will return to full-time, in-person learning starting Wednesday, April 28. To prepare for their return, all students should plan to learn from home on Tuesday, April 27, to allow for classrooms to be reset to meet the new distancing guidance. Teachers will be communicating their expectations for the virtual day with students prior to Tuesday. SPS said that the virtual day does not impact students who are currently enrolled in Spokane Virtual Academy and those who spend most of their day in a special education classroom.
