The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman (MPDA) on Wednesday announced that 6,000 new paid parking spaces were created in the emirate this year. Dr Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector at the MPDA, said the civic body had prepared an integrated plan for additional paid parking spaces. He said the paid service is aimed at smooth parking of vehicles and preventing misuse of parking spaces.
