Six more confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported in students and staff in Hamilton schools.
One of them is a student at St. Eugene Catholic Elementary School community, which is managing an outbreak.
Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board said the student was last in school on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
"This new case is from the isolating cohort and is connected to the school outbreak," read a letter to families from school principal Linda Spadafora.
"Any students, staff or cohorts that are required to quarantine will be notified immediately by the school and will be contacted by Hamilton Public Health Services (HPHS) within the next two days."
