Nine people were wounded in a series of shootings Saturday that included a double shooting near several downtown Indianapolis bars, according to reports from police.
It is unclear if there is a connection between any of the shootings.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported the first incident shortly before 1 a.m., when a person suffering from gunshot wounds walked into an east-side hospital. That person was listed in stable condition.
