80A non-isolated PoL sits up on edge Flex Power Modules has announced a 198W point-of-load dc-dc converter in a 33 x 8.6 x 19mm single-in-line format. Called BMR474, it is a digital non-isolated PoL that can deliver 198W. Efficiency is as high as 95.1% at 12Vin 3.3Vout full load – chunky output pins help to keep resistive losses at bay. An optional pre-fitted heatsink is required for more demanding applications. Input voltage range is 6 to 15V and the output can be adjusted from 0.6 to 3.3V – with 80A available at up to 1.8V, and 60A above 1.8V. Ripple and noise is 5mV at 12Vin 1Vout full load.
