A Jim Henson biopic is in the works at Disney and The Jim Henson Company According to Deadline, a Jim Henson biopic, titled Muppet Man, is currently in the works at Disney and The Jim Henson Company and will follow the puppeteer’s journey to getting the Muppets onto a cable network. The outlet is reporting that The Current War and The Giver screenwriter Michael Mitnick is set to pen the script which will be a rewrite of a draft previously penned by writing duo Aaron and Jordan Kandell ( Adrift). Henson’s daughter Lisa Henson is producing the film for The Jim Henson Company.
