The death, at the Pinecrest long-term care home in Plantagenet, was reported on May 4 by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, and was the first of 11 to be reported at the home. Those 11 deaths remained constant throughout the summer and early fall, at a time when new cases averaged 20 per month. It seemed the spread was under control, and the EOHU declared no active cases in Cornwall in August. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
