The Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) issued an advertisement notice for Panchayat Accounts Assistant in Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj on 06-07-2020. After this, the Board conducted OMR-based objective-type written test for selection of candidates to the 1889 posts advertised on 10-11-2020.The exam was attended by nearly one lakh and sixty-five thousand candidates. The results came on 25 Dec 2020. The JKSSB needs to be complimented for carrying out such a mammoth exercise in the shortest possible time. Also, the results declared were accepted by all aspirants, showing the efficiency and transparency involved. During the entire process of the exam, the aspirants were kept aware of all developments of JKSSB through its website. The JKSSB Chairman has reformed the institution and set high standards of excellence for it.
