Exactly a year ago i.e, on December 17
th, 2019, AP CM YS Jagan categorically hinted that AP might have three capitals taking queue from South Africa. “Decentralisation of power should be done. Who knows Kurnool may become Judicial Capital, Vizag may become Executive Capital and Amaravati may be the Legislature Capital,” said Jagan categorically in the AP Assembly.
This announcement stunned the Amaravati farmers and from the same day, they started their agitation against the ‘Three Capitals.’ Today marks the 365 days of Amaravati farmers protest and yet there is no justice met to them as Jagan led YSRCP government is in no mood to go back on its ‘Three Capitals.’
