Staff Writer A grand jury returned indictments against 17 people in Marshall County, including one man who faces more than a dozen counts of sexual abuse offenses against a child. Daniel Todd Williams, 52, of Seventh Street, Moundsville, was indicted Tuesday on 16 separate charges: six counts of sexual abuse by a custodian, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, one of first-degree sexual assault, three of second-degree sexual assault, three of third-degree sexual assault, and one count of soliciting a minor via computer. These charges span a period of more than eight years. In April 2019, a girl, then age 16, reached out to her high school resource officer to say that Williams had been molesting her since she was 5, and said he had first assaulted her when she was 10.
