On Monday’s programme we’re talking about talking chatbots and artificial intelligence. Much attention has been focussed on the Microsoft backed OpenAI's ChatGPT, which was launched last November. It allows users to experiment with its ability to write essays, articles and poems as well as computer code in just seconds. However, the University of Hong Kong has issued a temporary ban on students using ChatGPT or any other AI-based tools for coursework, classwork and assessments, while it works out a long-term policy for dealing with the phonomenon What do you think about this trend?
