Two more Park residents died from the virus this week, bringing the county's COVID-19 death toll to 23. As of Thursday, Jan. 28, Alberta Health Services reported 20 deaths in Sherwood Park, which is an increase of two new deaths since Monday, Jan. 25. One was reported on Wednesday and the other was recorded by AHS on Thursday. Along with three previous deaths recorded in the rural area, Strathcona County’s overall COVID-19 death toll has inched to 23 residents.
