Hillsdale Daily News A Pittsford man charged with assault with intent to murder for a stabbing earlier this year appeared in 2B District Court Wednesday afternoon for a preliminary examination hearing. Brock Ian Adams, 20, was also charged with first-degree home invasion and possession of methamphetamine for the incident which happened Jan. 16 in the city of Hillsdale. Adams’ attorney, Brendan Sanger, announced as the hearing started that Adams would be taking a plea deal in the matters. In lieu of the more serious offense, Adams has been scheduled for a plea hearing in the district court where he is tentatively scheduled to plead guilty to assault and battery and entry without permission.
