By Mike Smith Mar 3, 2021 The Adena Warriors are the lone SVC Division 3 boys basketball team still standing in the post-season, advancing to the district final against Fairland in a 74-48 win over South Point. The Warriors trailed only once in the game at 2-0, and never trailed again. Adena led at each stop: 17-12, 35-24, 51-39 and 74-48. Adena was red-hot from the field, shooting 29/43 for 67%- including 6/11 from the arc and added 10/16 at the foul line. The Pointers were 18/40 from the field for 45%- including 2/8 from the arc and 10/20 at the free throw line. The Warriors grabbed 30 rebounds to only 14 for South Point, with SP having 12 turnovers and 11 for Adena.
