The company released a beta version of Photoshop for Macs with M1 chips. Adobe also teased that it would add new features for customers using M1 Macs in future updates. Adobe has announced that Photoshop will now run natively on Macs that are powered by the new M1 chip. This is the second app that's getting optimised for M1 Macs after Lightroom. Adobe's Lightroom was released in December and could run natively on Macs with M1 chips. We have to point out that Adobe did release a beta version of Photoshop for Apple's M1-based MacBooks last year. Though, the new Photoshop version is now widely available for everyone, including Creative Cloud customers.
