Adopt-a-Neighborhood in Suisun launches soon at Highway 12, Emperor Way SUISUN CITY — The city will launch its Adopt-a-Neighborhood program at 9 a.m. Saturday at the bike path along Highway 12, beginning at Emperor Way. The event will include a ceremony to break ground that includes use of drought-resistant plants. The program centers on neighbors helping neighborhoods. Joining comes with free services and resources that include: • Access to garden information from the library. • Downloadable front yard curb appeal virtual courses. • Cleanup assistance from the “neighbors helping neighbors” program. Suisun City covers 4.5 square miles and is broken down – unofficially – into 21 neighborhoods. By adopting a neighborhood, city residents can collectively take pride in seeing the city thrive one neighborhood at a time, according to a city announcement.
