Adrian District Library program will celebrate women in history By Daily Telegram staff ADRIAN — Following a successful “Christmas Traditions” program, educator and entertainer, Martina Mathisen will again collaborate with the Adrian District Library for a special “Women in History” program. Scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, in correlation with March's Women’s History Month, Mathisen will tell the stories of some of history’s most dynamic women, including Annie Okalye, Harriet Tubman and Madame Curie, as well as other impactful women.
