Advantech Ryzen range to accelerate AIoT Edge revolution Advantech has announced that it is expanding its range of embedded systems with the new AMD Ryzen V2000 Series for its Mini-ITX and COM Express products. According to Advantech these embedded products will be able to deliver improved levels of performance and accelerate the 'revolution' in Edge AIoT applications. The AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 Series employs an innovative 7nm process technology. The âZen 2' cores and high-performance AMD Radeon graphics package deliver breakthrough performance combined with much lower power consumption. This optimised architecture offers 15 percent improved performance in Instructions Per Clock (IPC), with a higher number of cores delivering up to 30 percent better single-thread CPU performance and up to 40 percent enhanced graphics performance when compared with the previous generation.
