African Development Bank’s climate resilient project in Zambia wins water change maker award
The Climate Adaptation Summit Water ChangeMaker award celebrates and promotes teams and organizations in Africa shaping water decisions that build climate resilience in Africa
ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast, January 28, 2021/APO Group/ --
A climate resilient project in Zambia supported by the African Development Bank (www.AfDB.org) and Climate Investment Funds (CIF) has won the Water ChangeMaker People’s Choice Award-Africa.
The Strengthening Climate Resilience in the Kafue Sub-basin Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (SCRiKA) (https://bit.ly/2YmLBmk) beat two other finalists identified by an expert jury to win first prize with roughly 7,000 votes, it was announced at the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021 on 25 January.
